Adams Agtarap brings over two decades of financial expertise to our team, specializing in wealth management and financial planning for high-net-worth clients. He holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Administration of Justice and Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. With a deep understanding of the complexities of financial markets and personal finance, Adams helps clients navigate retirement planning, investment strategies, insurance solutions, and more.
Before joining our Allstate team, Adams served as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he built strong client relationships, focusing on managed advisory portfolios, retirement planning, and life insurance solutions. His extensive background also includes over 20 years at First Hawaiian Bank and BancWest Investment Services, where he was a Wealth Associate managing mutual fund products, annuities, and long-term care strategies.
Adams holds a range of certifications, including FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, 66, and SIE, as well as a State of Hawaii Life and Health Insurance license, making him a valuable resource for comprehensive financial guidance.
Recognized for his outstanding service, Adams was named the “Best Bank Teller on the Big Island” in 1998 by the Hawaii Tribune Herald Readers’ Choice Awards and was honored as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Hawaii Business and Honolulu Magazine in 2014.
Beyond the office, Adams is deeply involved in the community. He has served as President of the Hawaii Track & Field BIIF Officials Association and is a National Certified Track & Field Official with both the National Federation of High Schools and USATF. He is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of Hilo and a former president of the East Hawaii Jaycees.
In his spare time, Adams enjoys traveling, immersing himself in diverse cultures, and attending various sporting events. His dedication to both his clients and community make him a trusted and valued member of our Allstate team.
